Juliette Savitscus Ph.D.
Dr. Savitscus received her doctorate in clinical psychology from Michigan State University, where she had a concentration in child and family issues. During her training, she also worked at a local children’s grief center in various capacities, including running a group for bereaved parents and supervising groups for children dealing with grief issues. Counseling grieving children and adults continues to be a passion for Dr. Savitscus Her other major clinical interests are in women’s issues, such as self-esteem, depression, anxiety, anger, relationships, and history of abuse. Her dissertation focused on women’s identity issues and well-being and she has published two related articles in peer-reviewed journals. At Matrix, Dr. Savitscus works with children, families, couples, and adults with a variety of concerns. Her clinical style is best described as integrative, borrowing from a number of theoretical perspectives. She is licensed as a psychologist in the state of Ohio.
