Abigail Judge, LISW, LCSW
I am a Licensed Independent Social Worker in Columbus, Ohio. I graduated from Florida State University with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology in 2010 and obtained a Master of Social Work from Florida State University in 2012. I have worked in healthcare for 8 years and have experience working with clients of all ages and backgrounds including children, adolescents, adults, families and individuals. My time in healthcare has been spent in both medical and psychiatric hospitals. I have worked with clients dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, abuse, ADHD, behavioral disorders, addiction, grief and loss, gender identity issues, self-injury and adjustment to chronic illness.
My approach to therapy is collaborative, empowering, non-judgmental and evidence based. I draw from several treatment approaches including strengths based, person-centered, positive psychology, cognitive behavioral therapy and solution focused therapy. I come from a place of empathy, kindness, and understanding. I believe both compassion and honesty are essential to the therapeutic relationship.
