Akanksha Dutt, Psy.D.
Dr. Dutt graduated with her doctorate in Clinical Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology and completed her doctoral internship at The Ohio State University’s Counseling and Consultation Service. Her clinical experience includes having worked in hospital settings and university counseling centers. Dr. Dutt views therapy as a journey, helping to align the inner and outer worlds of individuals through non-judgement, authenticity and positive regard. She values the interpersonal and relational process, and strives to help individuals empower themselves and bring harmony to their environment. Dr. Dutt’s areas of professional interests include relationship concerns, conflict resolution, stress (personal and professional), women’s issues, sexual orientation, multicultural and diversity issues, group process, grief and loss, socio-cultural-political influences on well-being, and cardiac psychology. Her professional time is spent doing clinical work, presenting at workshops and offering consultation to individuals and organizations. Dr. Dutt is a member of the Ohio Psychological Association and currently serves on the Education Committee. She is bilingual in Hindi and English.
For fun she enjoys reading, playing board games, finding and engaging in creative outlets, and spending time with family.
