Shannon Clark, NP MS, RN, APRN, PMHNP-BC
Shannon is a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner. She graduated from The Ohio State University with her Master of Science degree in Nursing in 2018. Shannon completed her undergraduate Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Capital University in 2015 after working several years as an RN after completion of her Associate Degree in Nursing from Bluefield State College (Bluefield WV). Prior to coming to Matrix Integrated Psychological Services in 2018, Shannon’s earlier career included time at Nationwide Children’s Hospital, working with children with chronic health care conditions. More recently she worked at OSU Harding Hospital helping to provide inpatient psychiatric care to those suffering from acute mental illness crises. Shannon’s passion includes treating individuals suffering from a variety of mental health disorders, including depression, anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and other psychiatric conditions. She seeks to provide care with kindness and compassion. In addition to her work at Matrix, Shannon also serves as a Clinical Instructor at The Ohio State University College of Nursing teaching undergraduate psychiatric and community nursing. She lives with her husband, two Siberian cats, and two French bulldogs, “Daisy” and “Oliver.” Her hobbies include spending time at the lake boating and kayaking and enjoying time with her family and friends.
