Jason Jones, LPCC, LICDC
Jason Jones graduated from The Ohio State University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Social Work in 1995 and obtained a Master of Arts in Counseling Ministries from the Methodist Theological School in Ohio in 2004. He is currently a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor Supervisor, a Licensed Independent Chemical Dependency Counselor Clinical Supervisor, and a Licensed Social Worker. Jason has worked with teenage runaways, adult parolees and probationers, families of addicted individuals, and those suffering from addiction and mental health issues for over twenty-five years. He has spent twenty years working at several agencies for drug, alcohol, and mental health issues, as well as spent several years working with professionals in the healthcare field who suffer from addiction issues. Jason has been with Matrix since 2008, and expanded his hours to full-time in 2017. Jason’s counseling philosophy includes creating an accepting, non-judgmental environment for addressing the negative behaviors and thoughts that coincide with addiction and other mental health disorders, in order to provide healthier options to reduce these issues in an individual’s life.
