Lacy Purdum is a Licensed Professional Counselor through the State of Ohio Counselor, Social Worker, and Marriage and Family Therapy Board. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the Ohio State University and her Master of Science in Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Dayton.
Lacy has experience providing mental health services to children, adolescents, and adults. She takes a trauma-informed, integrative approach that often utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Strength-Based Therapy.
Lacy is passionate about building a trusting therapeutic relationship with her clients that encourages growth and honesty. She believes that therapy is a collaborative effort where the client is the expert of their own experiences and she provides support and empowerment to make meaningful changes. She is dedicated to creating a space that is non-judgmental, inclusive, and safe for clients to be their authentic selves.
