Olivia Hare, LPC, M.S.Ed

Olivia Hare (she, her, hers) is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) through the State of Ohio Counselor, Social Work, and Marriage and Family Therapy Board.  Olivia earned her Bachelors of Arts in Psychology from The Ohio State University before continuing her education at the University of Dayton, where she achieved her Masters of Science in Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.

With roots in Trauma-Informed Care, Olivia provides individual, couples, family, and group therapy services to adolescents, adults, and children (age 5+).  She believes in using empirically supported treatment modalities, some of which are, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), are Motivational Interviewing.  Olivia values a collaborative, person centered therapeutic approach, viewing clients as the expert of their own experiences and, therefore, the driving factor of their therapeutic success.

With the understanding that each client has different strengths, experiences, and perspectives, Olivia highlights the importance of acknowledging these differences and the role they play in how we engage with ourselves, each other, and the world around us.  She believes trust, open communication, and feelings of safety are essential features of a strong, productive therapeutic relationship, and a catalyst for client growth and goal achievement.
