We at Matrix believe that the first step towards sustained organizational profitability begins with getting the right people into the right places within the organization. Put simply; it’s all about “fit.” No matter how good of a business model you may have, if you do not have the right people steering the ship, you will inevitably find yourself in troubled waters. This is why we developed the Matrix Leadership Pre-Employment Screening Process.

What is the Matrix Leadership Pre-Employment Screening Process?

Matrix Pre-Employment Screening is a seamless selection and tracking process designed to help organizations make informed hiring decisions for executive and management-level positions. Our proven selection and tracking process involves:

Step 1: Enterprise Needs Assessment: to determine what your organization requires in a leader.

Step 2: Matrix Position Analysis Survey (MPAS): taken by supervisors and department experts to determine what qualities your ideal candidate must possess.

Step 3: Survey Analysis: to identify a competency hierarchy based on the demands of the position and the preferences of the organization.

Step 4: Matrix Interview: tailored to assess for the specific competencies outlined in step 3.

Step 5: Psychometric Assessment of Top Candidate(s): to measure an individual’s mental capabilities and behavioral style.

Upon completion, Matrix conducts an in-depth comparison of all findings and produces a comprehensive report. Together, the Matrix team and the client will assess the information and select the best match. Once we hire the ideal candidate, Matrix conducts a phone assessment every six months to monitor their performance. If desired by the enterprise, we also provide coaching services to nurture the new hire’s strengths and assist with their transition into leadership.

Fitness-for-Duty

Matrix psychologists are frequently asked by human resource personnel and legal counsel to perform independent psychological evaluations (IPE) to determine the nature, extent, and primary cause of an employee’s psychological and emotional distress. IPEs also assess the adequacy of their psychological treatment, their “fitness” to return to work, and whether or not they are at risk for harming themselves or others.
